Steven Herbert has served as the Beverly Hills Weekly's sports editor since shortly after it was founded in 1999, covering Beverly Hills High School sports. He has also covered major college and professional sports for The Washington Post and The Associated Press, the television industry for the Los Angeles Times and local, state and national politics for City News Service. Herbert is a graduate of Hawthorne School, Beverly Hills High School, where he was sports editor of the school's famed newspaper Highlights, and UCLA. Email him at StvHerbert@aol.com.
